The goal of this Work Log is to record every major activity that we did individually or collectively to find and buy the land, clear and develop the land, build the buildings, and live on our land in the Klamath River Country Estates subdivision located on the southern shore of the Klamath River east of Hornbrook California.

Some of the recorded dates and actions in this log will have links to the pages where you can see photos and read commentary about the work performed that day. Others may not have links because we did not write anything or take photos that would add to the list of the work done.

The table lists the Date(s), the Segment of the development plan that the work focused on, the People involved in that work, the Work accomplished, and Special Notes about the work.

October 13, 2008 Finding Land Will & Phil Drove along Klamath River from Keno Oregon to Yreka Saw KRCE on north side of Ager-Beswick Road. No idea we'd live here someday.
July 3 to 27, 2009 Finding 'Home' Will, Liza & Vas Attended a 10-day spiritual retreat at the Buddhist monastery - Mt. Shasta Abbey. Opined 'Wouldn't it be nice to live near here?'
August 27 to September 7, 2009 Finding Land Will & Phil Geology research at Craters of the Moon Monument in Idaho. Talked about possibility of living near Mt. Shasta.
October 20 to 28, 2009 Finding Land Will Whirlwind tour of real estate in Weed area. Focused on Mt. Shasta Vista & Lake Shastina Subdivisions.
February 3 to 11, 2010 Finding Land Will & Liza Viewed 'short list' of lots in Mt. Shasta Vista, Lake Shastina & KRCE. Ruled all options 'Out'. Ready to give up.
February 12, 2010 Finding Land Will & Liza Saw KRCE Unit #2, Lot 130, 13242 Mountain St. for 1st time. We were 'hooked'.
March 6, 2010 Buying Land Will Offer #1 $9,000, plus 1/2 of all costs including Perc

October 18, 2010 Sangha Shed Will Foundation Area Measured and did a rough dig of the pit.
October 20, 2010 Sangha Shed Will Foundation Base Measured and levelled four corners.
October 20, 2010 Land Clearing Will Small Juniper Protected Made a protective ring of brick. Added soil and fertilizers.
October 21, 2010 Sangha Shed Will Foundation and Frame Completed All concrete blocks placed. Levelled and squared the floor frame.
